Meek Mill was arrested Thursday night on reckless endangerment, the New York Daily News reports. The Philly rapper is accused of riding an illegal dirt bike in the Inwood neighborhood in Manhattan.
The “Wins and Losses” rapper was arrested 10:15 p.m. at the corner of 10th Ave. and Dyckman St.
An NYPD spokesman told the Daily News they saw Meek Mill post footage of himself on Instagram popping wheelies with no helmet. Police told the New York Post that Meek put “himself and others at great risk of injury.”
Meek is awaiting arraignment at Manhattan Criminal Court late Thursday.
Meek Mill was scheduled to perform on Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, where he performed his song “Young Black America.”
