Meek Mill says he doesn’t know anything about Safaree getting jumped during 2017 BET Awards weekend. The Philly rapper was asked his thoughts on the incident during his Streetz 94.5 interview with DJ Holiday.
“I was looking like, ‘Damn, what’s going on?’ I don’t be worrying about these dudes, man,” he said. “I never really get it confused. People be talking on this Internet about a lot of stuff going on the Internet and real life. You always gotta remember in real life, it’s always real life. I try to keep everything real life. Stay out of all these dudes’ way, keep it moving.”
Safaree isn’t rocking with Meek Mill, and told him to try the stunt again in an IG post.
Safaree dissed the “Wins and Losses” rapper during an interview with Hip Hop DX at TCL Chinese Theaters In West Hollywood.
“F**k him. He’s a coward,” Safaree said.
Safaree was beaten outside DJ Khaled’s mansion last month in West Hollywood. Safaree’s attackers were alleged to be members of Meek Mill’s Dreamchasers camp.
Safaree can be seen in footage talking to some people when Meek Mill pulls up. Safaree was then immediately attacked by multiple persons.
Safaree spoke on the incident soon after.
“Listen, straight up, I hopped out the whip. Saw Meek, he hopped out the whip. Then I just got snuck,” he said. “N****s jumped me. A whole bunch of n****s. Meek, you are the biggest p—- on this planet. You saw me. You ain’t do s—. You got your n****s to jump me. One-on-one, you can’t f— with me. So that’s why you had to do that. N****s caught me from the back. N****s caught me from the side. All that.”
