Meek Mill was selling drugs by his late teens. He wasn’t interested in minimum wage work like other kids. Meek explained his introduction to the drug game during his Sway In The Morning radio interview.

Meek says he sold drugs from ages 16 to 21.

“Once I got like 21, my mixtapes start doing numbers. I just let it go. …We was living in public housing, me and my mom,” he explained. “When I turned like 16 and 17, I went out there and got on my own. I ain’t really gon keep depending on my mom. My dad already dead. My mom got two kids. She took care of us our whole life so the first thing I did is the closest thing to me. The environment I was in, that was the easiest thing I did to get some. It was ten times than filling out an application and tryna wait to get a job.”

Meek shockingly revealed his cousin exchanged coke with his high school principal for a diploma.

“That’s how he got his diploma,” he said. “I actually seen it. Principal just took some coke for a diploma and write that sh*t up. That’s how it be though. It be deep out there in them streets. It be like a lot of dark sh*t going on.”
