Tay-K, a Texas-born rapper wanted for capital murder, has been arrested after being on the run for the past month after fleeing house arrest. Tay-K, born Taymor Travon McIntyre, was arrested for the murder of 21-year-old Ethan Walker during a home invasion robbery in Mansfield, TX.
Tay-K is a suspect in another murder in San Antonio after fleeing house arrest, the Star-Telegram reports. He is also accused of beating and robbing a 65-year-old man in Arlington’s Craven Park.
Tay-K was captured Friday, June 30 after U.S. Marshalls’ New York/New Jersey Regional Task Force found him in Elizabeth, NJ, NBCDFW.com reports.
Tay-K, 17, will be extradited back to Texas.
Tay-K ok’d the release of his music video for song “The Race” upon his arrest. Tay-K poses with his own wanted flier in the visual. Tay-K also calls himself a shooter like slain Chicago rapper Young Pappy.
He raps, “I tote 50s, I’m a shooter like Young Pappy/B***h tried rob me, make her dance, Michael Jackson.”
