Paul George’s Leg Snaps In Half During USA Basketball Scrimmage



Indiana Pacers forward Paul George suffered a horrific leg injury during the USA Basketball Blue- White scrimmage in UNLV’s Thomas & Mack Center.



The incident occurred just 27 seconds into the fourth quarter after fouling opposing player James Harden. George’s leg snapped after sliding into the base behind the basket.

The game was later cancelled after George was transported to Las Vegas Hospital.

George later took to Twitter following incident and expressed thanks to his supporters.

“Thanks everybody for the love and support.. I’ll be ok and be back better than ever!!! Love y’all!! #YoungTrece



Pacers president Larry Bird issued the following statement:

“We are aware of the injury sustained by Paul George in Friday night’s Team USA game in Las Vegas and we are obviously greatly concerned. At this time our thoughts and prayers are with Paul. We are still gathering details and we will have an update statement Saturday.”
