Polo G revealed the meaning behind the G in his stage name. Polo G took to twitter to honor deceased friend Gucci on his 22nd birthday. Gucci was shot and killed when he was only 16-years-old in Chicago.
Polo G pays homage to his homie Gucci in his music. In ’33’ Lil Polo raps, “Still want that point for Gucci, look his killer in his eyes/My bad I never scored for y’all, but at least a n—- tried.”
Polo G also reps Gucci Gang in unreleased record “Run it Up.”
