Paparazzi snapped pics of the famed singer as she tried to discretely get some food and drinks at Italian restaurant Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica Friday. When Rihanna removed her sunglasses, they discovered she had a black eye and some swelling in her face.

Rihanna’s rep told TMZ the injuries were the result of an electric scooter. The scooter reportedly flipped over and smacked her in the face and forehead.
