RondoNumbaNine and Cdai were sentenced to serve 39-year and 38-year terms in prison, respectively.
S.Dot aka Dotarachi sat down with Hip Hops Revival to open up on the Team600 rappers murder convictions.
“You hear 40 years, that s**t a f**k your head up,” Dot said. “I don’t give a f**k what nobody say. I don’t give a f**k what nobody say, I know bronem tweaking off that s**t. That’s a hard pill to swallow. I don’t wish that on nobody, on the opps. I don’t wanna see no man in that cage. Motherf*****rs got families, s**t to do. I heard the s**t, it f****d me up, f***d my head up. It’s a lot of fu s**t going on. N****s talking. I just wish I was around them. I could’ve told little bro something to stop or prevent that s**t. We holding it down for them. They should be on their way out. We waiting on that appeal.”
In May, Fredo said Cdai was appealing his conviction on IG.
The caption on Fredo’s post read, “Talk to C dai today he in good spirit bro gone get that appeal… free him & rondo … love y’all miss y’all.”
On Tuesday, July 5, RondoNumbaNine was sentenced to 39 years in prison for the 2014 murder of cab driver Javan Boyd. On Thursday, July 7, he was transferred to Menard Correctional Center in Menard, IL to serve his time.
Rondo’s projected release date is Feb. 24, 2056. He is eligible for parole on Feb. 24, 2053.
Fans were able to get a glimpse of Rondo in Cook County before his transfer.
Cdai, who was sentenced to 38 years in prison on Monday, May 9, is also at Menard Correctional Center. He was transferred to Menard Correctional Center on May 17.
Cdai’s projected release date is March 5, 2055. He is eligible for parole on March 5, 2052.
Rondo, 19, and Cdai, 21, were found guilty of the Feb. 22, 2014 slaying in March.
Menard Correctional Center, located in Chester, IL, opened in March 1878, and is the second oldest prison in Illinois. It has a population of about 3,695 inmates, according to the Illinois Department of Corrections. It is located 347 miles from Chicago, a five and a half-hour drive.
