A second student, who was left critically injured from an attack that shook the surburban Ohio town of Chardin, succumbed to his wounds. Russell King, 17, died early Tuesday morning after being declared brain dead.
The first victim, 16-year-old Daniel Parmenter died yesterday after he was shot in the school’s cafeteria. The remaining victims are still currently hospitalized.
The alleged gunman TJ Lane, who is being held in the Portage-Geauga Detention facility, is to appear in a juvenile courtroom at 3:30pm.
A statement issued by the Lane family said they were “devastated by this most recent event”.
