More than 30 students at Scripps Ranch High were suspended from school after filming a music video where the popular “twerk” dance was used.

33 students are not allowed to attend prom or commencement, but can appeal the school’s decision, NBC 7 reports.

The students filmed the video during their 6th period using school editing equipment before posting to YouTube.

The students’ suspension began Tuesday and will conclude Friday. The song used was a YG song.
