Snoop was on his 90s gangsta ish when he launched a verbal and social media assault on Australian-born rap artist Iggy Azalea. The exchanges between the two only lasted a few days, but the damage was already done. Iggy’s mentor T.I. inserted himself into the dispute to settle all differences amongst both parties.
“Boys and girls, I just got off the phone with my homeboy TIP, the King of Atlanta, and it’s officially over,” Snoop said. “No more bad talk.
“…I apologize,” he added with a smirk.
The last few days have been pure entertainment for fans.
Snoop roasted Iggy by touching on a variety of points of her acting black to looking like a cast member of “White Chicks 2.”
Wish a b---- would Dish nation hahahahahah !!
Snoop even clowned Iggy’s australian heritage in his Todd get up.
“Iggy was a man So says Todd Hahahahahahah goodnight b-tch !! Kangaroo yo pink punk a-- bac to the land down under.
He posted an IG video dressed as Todd steaming his classic song “B*tches Ain’t Sh*t.”
Snoop isn’t the only artist upset with the Australian artist acting black to make and sell millions in her music.
Rah Digga commented on Iggy’s presence in the Hip Hop sphere in her This Is 50 interview.
“…I can’t get into her because it’s just not real to me. …Teach me Australian Hip Hop culture,” she said. “Don’t come to America and try to convince me that you’re Gangsta Boo. …We’re not gonna believe you if you try to convince us that you’re out here trap shooting, street…. I can’t.”
Iggy went on to respond to Snoop’s comments in a series of tweets:
