Stunt Taylor Explains Artistry and Defines Bop Music



Stunt Taylor’s name sticks as one of the driving forces behind Chicago’s growing Hip Hop movement.

The West Side native sat down with DJ Smallz Eyes to describe his artistry.

“I make turn up music. I make music for the club,” he said. “Maybe I make it in a positive manner. I make the music for everybody. You might not like what I’m saying, but you gone like the beat. You might not like the beat, but you might like what I’m saying. My music make people happy. People be like ‘He’s a bop artist. He can’t rap.’ I’m a artist. I make all type of music. I’m very lyrical and I tell stories.”

The “Stunt’n On Turbo” rapper also explained Bop Music.

“Bop music is like dancing, turning up,” he said. “Kids do all the crazy moves with their hands and the feet to the beat. They just go crazy.”
