Suspect Charged In Shooting Deaths of CJ Bandin Up of 24 Hour Boyz and Ephram Nelson

Police have arrested a Chicago Heights man suspected of being the triggerman in an early November double homicide in Ford Heights, IL. Ladarius Harris, 22, was arrested and charged with the fatal shooting deaths of aspiring rapper CJ Bandin Up, 19, and his 17-year-old cousin Ephram Nelson. CJ, born Cyrus Johnson, and Nelson were found shot dead inside a van the morning of Sunday, Nov. 3. Harris faces two counts of first-degree murder, according to CBS Chicago.

EJ and Dre of 24 Hour Boyz honored the memory of slain member CJ Bandin Up in new song “Easy.” This single contains a sample from Commodores’ song “Easy.”

This track comes as the group preps the release of their forthcoming mixtape “Overtime.” The project, hosted by DJ Shon, is expected to drop on CJ’s Feb. 16, 2015 birthday.

CJ’s music catalog includes songs “Everyday,” “Turn Yo Thot Down,” “No Sense,” “Shout Out To The Gang,” “You Ain’t Know” “I Got It” “Don’t Go” and more.
