Tekashi69 Named Suspect In Chief Keef Shooting

TMZ Reports: #Tekashi69 has a direct connection to a person of interest in the #ChiefKeef shooting in NYC. Law enforcement sources tell us … NYPD investigators are calling Tekashi a "known associate" of one of 2 men seen on surveillance cameras tracking Keef around NYC in the hours before someone opened fire on him outside the W Hotel. TMZ broke the story … NYPD was taking a closer look at 6ix9ine's potential ties to the men who followed Keef from a downtown Manhattan restaurant, and then uptown to the W in Times Square. We're told police are calling the men "persons of interest" in the attempted shooting of Keef. It's unclear if there's video showing them actually firing at, but missing Keef. Keef and Tekashi have been beefing on social media for months. However, Tekashi's camp tells us he was in L.A. at the time of the shooting. When he was on "TMZ Live," he denied any involvement in the incident, and downplayed any static with Keef.

Tekashi69 has more problems on his plate after he was named a suspect in Chief Keef’s shooting, TMZ reports. The NYPD wants to know if the “Gummo” rapper has any connection to the two men who shot at Sosa outside the W Hotel in Times Square earlier this month.

Police say the two suspects followed Sosa the night of the shooting. The first showed up at China Chalet restaurant where Keef was hanging downtown … then jumped into a dark-colored Ford Econovan.

The suspects parked the van around the block from the W and walked to the hotel to wait for Sosa. When Sosa walked outside with a friend to smoke a cigarette, the suspects fired shots in his direction. The suspects fled in the van, which was later found in Brooklyn,

TMZ caught up with Tekashi69 for his thoughts on Chief Keef.

“I’m a big fan of Chief Keef,” he said.

Tekashi69 went on to deny any beef between himself and the Glo Gang boss.

“My account be getting hacked. But I’m a big fan,” Tekashi69 says before he starts rapping Sosa’s lyrics to “Faneto.”

Tekashi69 told TMZ he wants to collaborate with Chief Keef.

“Just trying to find out how much a feature costs,” he said before rhyming lyrics to Sosa’s “Love Sosa.”
