Texas Rapper Arrested For Trying To Catch Tekashi69 Lackin At San Antonio Airport

Tekashi69 was almost caught lackin at San Antonio Airport, but was saved thanks to San Antonio Police.

The San Antonio Police Department arrested three men affiliated with the Tango Orejon gang network who made threats against the New York rapper.

Adam Rodriguez, 35, was arrested for making terroristic threats against Tekashi69 in a viral video. Rodriguez threatened to impose “penitentiary rules” if the Brooklyn rapper performed in San Antonio.

Rodriguez was arrested Thursday around 4:30 p.m. near the San Antonio International Airport. His bond was set at $5,000, KSAT 12 reports.

Rodriguez posted bond and was released.

The other men were booked on traffic warrants, according to SAPD.

San Antonio police say Rodriguez and two other men were arrested after an airport police recognized them from the viral clip.

Tekashi69 was set to arrive for a concert at Bar 23 in San Antonio Thursday night.

Rodriguez took to Facebook on Friday to share his side of the story.

“I’m about what I say, we went three cars deep and had people posted inside the airport. TEKASHI69 manager called SAPD…I told on myself? He’s suppose to be a gangsta ain’t he? I’m Orejon Fr if anyone feel like testin that feel free!” Rodriguez said in his Facebook post.
