The Game Supports Lonzo Ball’s Big Baller Shoes, Disses Michael Jordans’ Air Jordans

Just bought my son @hvrlemtaylor & a few of his friends the "Lonzo @zo Ball's" #Z02 kicks just on the pure fact that I've spent over a million dollars, s— probably more on Nike's, Jordan's & other big name sneaker brands in my lifetime so why not support a family brand & a rising stars shoe….. Funny how n—– will go & buy Gucci flip flops for $300-400 with no complaints but then complain & b—- when a kid & his family is making a name for themselves & trying to grow their own brand….. I also think about all these $500 duplicate Jordans n—– out here going broke & dying over just trying to keep up with Jones's…. While MJ, as much as I love & support him & his legacy ain't really ever did much for the black community other then tax our mothafuckin' a– for the same shoes over & over as well as charge these kids parents hella money to get in these camps. & again, no hate… MJ is MJ but today I chose to support @Zo & his family…. f— how anybody feel about it… keep making memes if that's all yo broke hatin a– can do….. maybe sometimes, people need to delete the meme app off they phone & start creating their own legacy instead of picking apart someone else's….. I will also be buying 10 more pair of @Zo's kicks for 10 kids who's parents can't afford them….. on behalf of myself & @therobinhoodproject #DatWay #TheRobinHoodProject #BigBallerBrand #itAintTrickinIfYouGotIt

The Game is a huge supporter of Lonzo Ball’s Big Baller sneakers. Game revealed he purchased pairs of the Z02, priced at $495, for his son and his friends.

“…I’ve spent over a million dollars, s**t probably more on Nikes, Jordans and other big name sneaker brands in my lifetime so why not support a family brand and a rising stars shoe,” Game wrote.

Game went on to blast critics who slam the shoe brand, but support Gucci and Michael Jordan’s Air Jordans.

“…As much as I love and support [Michael Jordan] and his legacy ain’t really ever did much for the black community other then tax our mothaf*****g a– for the same shoes over and over as well as charge these kids’ parents hella money to get in these camps,” Game wrote. “[And] again, no hate… MJ is MJ but today I chose to support @Zo & his family.”

Game ended his rant, saying he would be purchasing 10 more pairs of the ZO2s for 10 children.

UCLA star athlete Lonzo Ball and his father LaVar Ball may be on to something. The Ball family have allegedly sold close to 5,000 pairs of their Big Baller Brand Z02 sneakers, On Smash reports.

LaVar Ball has been under much scrutiny after announcing the $495 price tag for the shoe. Shaquille O’Neal took to Twitter to diss the overpriced sneaker.

Ball wrote, “Hey @Lavarbigballer real big baller brands don’t over charge kids for shoes.”

LaVar Ball explained the reasoning behind the shoe’s cost during an appearance on ESPN Radio’s Dan Le Batard Show.

“I figure that’s what the shoe is worth,” Ball said. “When you are your own owner you can come up with any price you want.”

LaVar also defended the $220 price tag of the sandals his company is selling with Lonzo’s new logo on them.

“Prada and Gucci is selling theirs for what they want,” LaVar said. “Ours is better than that. It feels better.”
