Thot Boyz’ latest track has the group spitting deep bars over Drake’s “Pound Cake.”
VonMar anchors the track, rapping, “Ain’t a day I don’t think about bro, all the times I f****d up, all the business I broke/If I can tell the story, it’d be the realest I wrote/All the guns, I stay with em, they know that I tote/Words can express things, but it’s (zimmons?) I wrote/Painted pictures of me clinic, it’s be the last time we talk/Rest in peace Sam, pray to God, he still with me.”
Chris Carter follows VonMar, rapping, “Yeah, we started from the bottom like an elevator/As a kid having dreams of getting hella paper/Kids pointing at my clothes and the missing labels/Grandmother taught me grace at the kitchen table/I shall not/The opposition treat me like a lame/I let it bang, my n****s do the same/Gotta hold the fame, it wasn’t planned, gotta hold the fame/Since VA died it ain’t been the same.”
Thot Boy V.A., born Vaughn Allison, was the victim of a May 29, 2013 drive-by shooting while sitting on the porch of his home.
VonMar’s twin Marty Creole, who is currently incarcerated, finished this track off, rapping, “Pistol grip, head shot/red dot/Miseray loves company/Company in front of me/Guns jammed, is you gon shoot or run from me/This is what I want from me/Suddenly like I should be/Like I should be more controlling and more upholding.”
