Popular Midwest rapper Thot King was arrested on child pornography charges following a home raid Thursday morning, according to the Lancaster Eagle-Gazette.

Thot King, whose real name is Eric D. Chavis, 23, is reportedly accused of production of child pornography and distribution of child pornography, court documents showed. Chavis filmed a then-16-year-old girl performing sexual acts in at least four videos in Columbus in June 2014. The girl said Chavis promised he’d make her a star.

The girl, now 17, requested Chavis remove the footage but he wouldn’t do so unless she performed sexual favors for him.

Police conducted raids at Chavis’ apartment and his ex-girlfriend and her father’s home, according to WBNS-10TV. A search warrant revealed electronic devices including cell phones, computers, camera and media cards were seized

Chavis could face a minimum of 20 years in prison if convicted.
