Tay600 announced the official release date for his much-anticipated project “My Brothers Keeper 2.”
Tay600’s MBK2, hosted by DJ Honors and DJ Milticket, will release first on Spinrilla. Tay’s Spinrilla page revealed the project will drop Sept. 18.
Tay600 sat down with HipHopsRevival to provide fans the inside scoop on his upcoming project.
“A lot of new s**t going on. Just a lot of savage s**t, lot of club bangers, lot of futuristic s**t, all that s**t Versatile s**t,” he said. “I’m stepping out the box, you dig. Lot of different s**t.”
Tay600 said there’s a special reason his projects take a while to come out. It’s because he wants to achieve perfection.
“That s**t coming along great. …I don’t want to half-ass it,” he said. “That’s why I don’t drop a lot of music. I like to give my fans time to connect to my music… f*ck with my music.”
Tay said fans will be surprised with the tracklist he put together.
“We got some people on that that yall don’t expect,” he said. “…I be making songs about s**t I have, s**t I see, s**t I did. I got a song called ‘Louis Vuitton.’ I think I’ma put that s**t on iTunes. S**t probably be a hit.I’ma have [A Zae Productions] shoot that s**t. We gone go crazy. I got ‘No Hook Pt. 2.’ I know that fans wanna hear that s**t. I got ‘Ballin Like Jordan Pt. 2’ on that s**t. ‘My Brothers Keeper’ I was like a rookie just stepping in this s**t tryna find my own lane. Now I done found out who I am and I know what I’m on. I’m coming harder than ever before.”
