Tink hopes for more unity amongst artists from her hometown of Chicago. Tink expressed her thoughts on the matter during an interview with Young Jack Thriller of This Is 50.
“..I think Chicago need more of that,” she said. “It’s always good to rock with people from your city. We gotta help each other out to put each other on. We need that.”
Tink said the hate in her city prevents everyone from coming together.
“Chicago, you know is a hard city,” she continued. “Background behind Chicago it’s so rough. People kinda rock with who they know, so it’s harder to break down barriers. …It’s a lot of hate in that city. It’s a blessing to be a artist that my city does embrace.
