Twista is the latest Chicago rapper to speak on the tragic death of Capo. Capo, born Marvin Carr, was fatally shot Saturday, July 11. The “Adrenaline Rush” rapper called Capo’s passing “unfortunate” during a sit-down interview with DJ Smallz Eyes.
“I just think sometimes things can escalate into things you don’t realize it’s gonna escalate into,” he said. “I’m sure none of the young cats that’s affiliated with what’s going on would wish this type of drama to take on this course or take the lives it has taken. …With some of these people that we have lost… you gotta be real careful with what you do and what you say out here. Your actions and your words can last a lifetime. It can come back on you 10, 20 years later. I think even at a young age it’s time for us to learn there are consequences and repercussions to every action. …It’s an unfortunate situation going where you want to go in the city. …It’s wild in the city right now. These kids need to get something else to do besides pay attention to the stuff their paying attention to.”
