Multiple sources are reporting Chicago rapper Vonno was murdered during a Friday night shooting. His shooting death allegedly occurred on 157th street in Calumet City, IL.

Vonno, 20, was a member of the Chicago’s up and coming Hip Hop group “Stain Gang,” which includes members Sago, Mally Mal, Zo Bandz and RK Da King.

Vonno, born Jevante Johnson, was prepping the release of his upcoming mixtape “Go Hard or Go Broke” before his untimely demise. Vonno’s lead single for the project is eerily titled “I Might Die.”



Vonno loved his family just as much as he loved his music. He was a loving father to his young daughter. His one wish was to live for his family.

“I can die any day dats why every night I pray dat da lord don’t take me away from my family !” he wrote on Twitter.
