XXXTentacion is now longer suing a former friend he hit in the head in newly surfaced footage.
X filed a defamation lawsuit against the young lady after the footage hit the net. The woman submitted a notarized note to the court recanting her statements that she was “terrified.”
“The video was taken years ago when Jahseh and I were both kids and we were just joking around,” she wrote in her letter to the court. “I was not injured as a result of what happened nor did it negatively affect my personal life.”
X previously accused the victim of trying to extort money from him.
The girl’s grandparents reportedly called X’s team asking what they’d be willing to do to “make everything good.”
X’s attorney, Jaclyn Broudy X’s, told TMZ the rapper and the victim are friends and “the video was taken completely in jest.” Broudy is now accusing the woman of extortion.
“This ‘terrified’ woman decides to post this video now, conveniently, when X becomes famous. Draw your own conclusions.”
The woman whose IG name is lilbcupp posted the original video with sound onto her IG account with a caption mocking fans defending X.
Her caption read, “tHeY wErE jUsT pLaYiNg.”
She later took to her IG story to offer more details on the origin on the video.
“For those who are questioning why I didn’t come forth earlier was because I was terrified for my life,” she wrote. “Imagine someone doing that to u unprovoked.? At 16? Let alone the people the people he associates himself w/? truth of the matter is I would still be holding on to this secret if it wasn’t leaked.”
