There was controversy around this song after X accused Drake of biting his flow.

XXXTentacion is not letting Drake slide for swagger jacking his sound. X appeared in his first radio interview since his release from jail, and called out Drake for having a flow similar to “Look At Me.”

“They put his verse on my song and the cadence is just at the same tempo,” X told 103.5. “It’s not off beat at all. He’s not a man. He’s a b***h. That was a b***h move, especially when I was in jail facing life. If Drake would’ve came to my bond hearing, that would’ve made my f*****g day. If he would’ve showed he’s a hospitable person, and that he’ really in this s**t for the culture rather taking my s**t and running off with it and then putting it on his album, then he would’ve got my kudos, my respect.”

Drake spoke with DJ Semtex during a lengthy interview where he addressed the controversy.

“The other day, I dropped this song with Giggs and I’m seeing all this s— on my IG under some random picture of people being like, ‘F— you, you took this kid’s flow’ or whatever. I’m like, ‘What’s happening to me right now?’ So I’m trying to read and figure out who they’re talking about. I find out who they’re talking about…”

He continues, “So I go and find what song they’re talking about, and I listen to it and I’m like okay, I see where people could draw this comparison off of the first two lines, whether it be cadence or the rhyme pattern or whatever. It’s crazy that people think that after all this time, after all I’ve been through, that I’m the type of person to go and take that and make it my own. I’m not stupid, I’m not a s— person like that.”

XXXtentacion wasn’t feeling Drake’s response to accusations he bit his flow from song, and let him have it on Twitter:
