XXXTentacion Wants To End $6M Contract With Capitol Records

XXXTentacion is done with the industry. X wants to get back on the Independent hustle just a week after he inking a multi-million dollar deal with Capital Records.

“I am not a signed artist, and I will not be releasing music for a very long time, I’m tired of this shit,” he wrote in his Instagram story.

Sources told Billboard the deal is worth $6 million. X was officially signed under Capitol Music Group’s subsidiary Carolina. His deal was to cover unreleased music.

X was a hot sign for Caroline. The Florida artist’s debut album, “17,” was released via Bad Vibes Forever/Empire Records on Aug. 25, and debuted on the Billboard 200 with 87,000 albums sold in its first week. It has sold 313,000 album copies sold far.
