Chief Keef’s Young Chop-produced song “Killer” has officially been released to the masses.
Chop leaked the track Thursday night. The track was well received and earned a positive reception amongst fans.
In “Killer,” Sosa raps, “By myself, smoking on that killer, I say that b***h already know I’m that n---- I hang with killers/We don’t want yo thot she on my c---, she told me the next day she suck my block/Cause we on top and won’t stop/Everything I put out is hot like the block.”
This single almost didn’t see the light of day. Chop initially leaked a snippet of the track in late November to positive fanfare. But he announced days later the project would not be released.
“Killer will not be dropping at all,” he wrote on Twitter.
Young Chop provided fans his reasoning for the not dropping the unreleased Chief Keef song “Killer.”
“Yall is too funny. Yall really think it’s me that don’t wanna drop the song? This is so awkward to me. I was gon drop the song in like two seconds… soon they said don’t drop it. I was like what?” he said in a statement posted to IG.
Sosa wasn’t too fond of the track.
“Please Stop sendin that Weak A-- ‘killer’ Song Covers To me I ain’t With Droppin That s---,” he wrote.
The disagreement surrounding the track ended after Chop went to Los Angeles to work on new music with Sosa.
Chop posted footage his IG of the track being streamed. He said the track was being mixed.
Chief Keef is currently prepping the release of his much anticipated “Bang 3” mixtape. The project, hosted by DJ Holiday, will be dropped Dec 25.
