50 Cent Calls Chief Keef and Bobby Shmurda Pure Hip Hop

50 Cent is not one to clout new talent. The G-Unit boss is known to be very critical of new artists coming up. But Fif sees promise in two of Hip Hop youngest front runners- Chief Keef and Bobby Shmurda.

The Jamaica Queens native had nothing but good things to say about the two budding MCs on DJ Whoo Kid’s ‘Whoolywood Shuffle’ radio show.

“I thought Chief Keef was what’s Hip Hop… it’s pure. Bobby Shmurda, too,” he said. “That’s the same sh-t. If somebody coming out of the environment that’s influenced by the environment and they just gon give you that. That’s what they know.”

50 previously stated Bobby shared similarities to Sosa during an interview with Power 105’s The Breakfast Club.

“When I saw him dancing and everything in the joint, I was like yo I couldn’t stop thinking of the little homie Chief Keef,” he said. “To me, that sound is his sound… the drill music.

“…It’s showing how a culture’s trending instead of having originality necessary for you to mean something to our culture back when I fell in love with it,” he said. “You had to be your own thing, your own sound even if didn’t make sense half of the time.”

Chief Keef has long admired the 50.

Sosa regarded the G-Unit boss as one of his many inspirations on Twitter.

“50 cent Always gone be my N*gga. I’m ridin to His old s**t now. 1 of the reasons for when I do go hard Why I do!” he wrote on Twitter.

This statement follows a series of tweets Sosa wrote in early February where he praised Fif.

Sosa was inspired by 50 Cent’s “I Don’t Know Officer” from the “Get Rich Or Die Tryin” soundtrack.

“I’m finna go in Da stu and goooo so crazy Thanks to @50Cent,

“50 was goin soooooooo f*ckin Crazy! Ion know who stabbed u ion Know who shot u

“Click Clack Pow Officer Down,” he wrote.
