Bobby Shmurda’s Mom Wants Fans To Be In Courtroom for May 11 Trial Date

Bobby Shmurda’s trial is scheduled to begin May 11. The “Hot N*gga” rapper’s mother, Leslie Pollard, recently sat down for an interview with XXL Mag to discuss his pending case.

Bobby, she said, appreciated the support of his fans. She requested fans be present for the start of Bobby’s trial, saying they are “open court dates.”

“The fans are absolutely welcome to come down and show support,” she said. “The more people he can look back and see is better for him.”

Fans can support in a variety of ways, the mother explained.

“He loves letters,” she said. “Tell the fans to keep up with the letters.”

Ms. Pollard said Bobby loves listening to music. He’s allowed to a Walkman and a radio. With the Walkman, she said, he’s only allowed to have original cassettes.

“I tried to take him a few, but they wouldn’t take it because they were made over,” she said. “I’m going to go back and, he loves Michael Jackson. A lot of people don’t know that about him but he does love Michael Jackson. I’m going to go back after I find some originals and send it to him.”
