Second Gunman Arrested In XXXTentacion’s Murder

A second suspect has been arrested in the June 18 shooting death of XXXTentacion.

Michael Boatwright, 22, of Fort Lauderdale, has been charged with first-degree murder.

Boatwright was arrested on unrelated drug charges on Thursday, July 5, and already in custody at Broward County Jail. He was served an arrest warrant Tuesday in X’s death.

Boatwright is pending trial on charges of cannabis possession; possession of c—— with intent to sell; manufacture or deliver; possession of the drug, flakka; battery on a specified employee; resisting/obstruction without violence; and probation violations, among other charges.

He is being held without bond.

Dedrick Williams, 22, of Pompano Beach, was charged with first-degree murder in X’s death last month. He, too, is being held without bond.
