A virus sickened a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. during a Rye Brook, NY event in April, News 12 Westchester has learned. Nearly 300 attendants had fallen victim in two separate events held at the hotel.
The historic African American sorority held a brunch at the hotel on April 21 where 825 people were in attendance.
The attendants were stricken by the norovirus, a stomach bug that causes vomiting and diarrhea, officials told News 12.
