Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music compilation album ‘Cruel Summer’ earned enough praise from fans to warrant a sequel.
Dreezy got the rumor mill churning after stating she and King Louie have a track on the so-called “Cruel Winter” album during an interview with Sway In The Morning.
“I definitely want to work with Kanye,” she said. “They actually asked me to be on ‘Cruel Winter.’ I don’t know if it’s still coming out. Me and Louie had did a track for it. That’s supposed to go on that project. I ain’t really been keeping up to date with it, but I know we did that.”
Q-Tip of A Tribe Called Quest first hinted a follow up to “Cruel Summer” during an interview with MTV.
“If there’s a ‘Cruel Summer’ then there’s got to be a ‘Cruel Winter,’ right?” he said.
West commented on the mystery project during an interview with Philadelphia’s Power 99.
“I go back and forth on it, but we keep on missing the winter,” he said. “That’s the only problem.”
G.O.O.D. Music artist Pusha T would silenced all speculation of the project during an interview with Power 98’s Danny Diaz in Charlotte, NC.
“We’re not doing the ‘Cruel Winter’ album or the ‘Cruel Summer’ sequel. There are too many projects we got on,” he said.
West is currently prepping the release of his sixth studio album. West has been tight-lipped on the project.
