Yung Mieo, a 10-year-old rapper from Atlanta Georgia, is filming music to take a stand against bullying.
The rapper, born Tommieo Walker, wrote the song after the loss of his sister’s best friend who committed suicide after being bullied. The rapper wants to eradicate bullying by spreading the message through his music.
Walker is shooting the video for his song “Playground,” which will tackle bullying. Yung Mieo will attempt to win over a girl while thwarting a bully who attempts to put an end to everyone’s fun.
The young emcee video shoot will take place Wednesday, July 10 in Milledgeville, GA, according to NBC 41. It will be held at Central Park from noon until 4pm and at the Fun Factory from 6 pm until 9 pm.
