Chief Keef is this generation’s most influential rapper. But does the OBlock native hold more Glo than one of our nation’s greatest Civil Rights activist Martin Luther King, Jr.? One fan seems to think so.
Fredo took to IG posting a before and after pic of Sosa that showed the Glo Gang frontman posted on the block and later posted at his mansion.
Fredo wrote, “Grind till u can’t grind no more glo till u can’t glo no more.”
A fan wrote reposted the IG post, writing, “Chief keef’s more inspiring than MLK.”
Sosa once compared himself to MLK in 2013. He posted an image onto his IG account titled “#BlackLegends” that featured prominent African American figures, including Martin Luther King, Jr., Malcolm X, Barack Obama and even himself. The American flag, though faint, can also be seen in the photo’s background.
We argued in our 2013 piece Sosa deserves to be mentioned alongside MLK and Malcolm X.
What are your thoughts? Is Chief Keef more inspiring to this generation than MLK? Sound off below.
