50 Cent Promotes Voter Registration

50 Cent is using his influence to spread the importance of voting. The Interscope artist recently joined forces with non-partisan group HeadCount to promote voter registration for National Voter Registration Day.

“Spread the word. Register to vote here,” the artist wrote via Instagram.

50 Cent publicly endorsed Barack Obama for president during the 2008 presidential election following the commander-in-chief’s highly regarded speech on race.

“I heard Obama speak,” he told MTV News. “He hit me with that he-just-got-done-watching-‘Malcolm X,’ and I swear to God, I’m like, ‘Yo, Obama!’

“I’m Obama to the end now, baby!”

Are you registered to vote? Who will vote for in the upcoming presidential election? Sound off below.
