600Breezy Talks Debut Mixtape and Newfound Fame

600Breezy is not new to rapping, but his name has been coming up in a lot of conversations on the underground Hip Hop scene since late 2014.

ZackTV caught up with the Team600 rapper for the scoop on his debut mixtape and thoughts on his newfound fame.

“6-O Breezy the mixtape. This what n-ggas been waiting on,” he said. “…They asked for it so much, I’m like f-ck it. Let me take this sh-t seriously. I got all straight street sh-t.”

600Breezy didn’t realize the extent of his fame until he heard fans listening to his music and reciting his rhymes.

“I was just coming from Wisconsin. I’m on the bus. I never take the bus. We get to a terminal, we switch busses,” he recounts. “I’m on a bus, I hear a motherf-cker…I know I hear my verse, ‘I’m in traffic with these poles tryna free my bro D. Rose.’ Another motherf-cker sitting like two seats directly across from me. A white girl at that, ‘Rondo and Cdai booked they tryna give em life.’

One of the fans, he said, found the courage to approach him and freaked out upon their introduction.

Breezy also said he gets love at clubs out of state.

“That sh-t make a n-gga feel like a celebrity,” he said.
