Birdman Gets On A Call With King Yella and Slim Jesus, Says Lil Wayne Is Not Leaving Cash Money Records



King Yella leaked a phone call him and Slim Jesus had with Hip Hop mogul Birdman shortly after the release of the viral “Drill Time” music video.

Birdman expressed interest in signing Slim to Cash Money Records and attempted to sell himself and his storied company in the call:

“I can’t make it happen, I’ma respect it. It ain’t gon change a way a n***a live. I respect it, but I think I can change the way yall living. Yall can make the sh*t pop off. I ain’t tripping on the money, I just know what I can do for him (talent-wise?) and music and everything yall about. …I got the biggest system in the world. I am the biggest sh*t in the world. I ain’t just repping cause I’m repping, I’m just repping cause it’s real. Wayne, Drake, Nicki, we the biggest sh*t popping. [Slim Jesus] got an opportunity he come out with the right song, I know this sh*t can be big.”

Birdman would go on to say Wayne is still on Cash Money Records and not going anywhere.

“Wayne my son,” he said. “He not going nowhere.”
