Mother Arrested For Allowing Son To Do ‘Fire Challenge’



A Charlotte mother has been arrested after allowing her son to participate in the Fire Challenge, Fox 32 Chicago reports.

Janie Lachelle Talley, 41, was reportedly charged with Contributing to the Delinquency of a Juvenile after footage of her 16-year-old son spread like wildfire throughout social.



In the video, Talley and other family frantically rush to put out the flames on the boy’s body.

The victim allegedly sustained minor burns to his chest snd neck area.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police began an investigation after the Department of Social Services was notified, according to the Charlotte Observer.

Youth Crime detectives arrested Talley Aug. 6, according to WFMYNews2.com He trial is scheduled to begin Oct. 2.
