A ‘Black Lives Matter’ activist is in hot water after he threatened to harm an entire town of people via social media, Fox 32 Chicago reports.
Carlos Anthony Hollins, 20, told followers Wednesday on Twitter to purge La Plata, MD of white people
“IM NOT GONNA STAND FOR THIS NO. MORE. TONIGHT WE PURGE ! KILL ALL THE WHITE PPL IN THE TOWN OF LAPLAT #BlackLivesMatter,” he wrote.
Hollins has since been arrested and charged with threats of mass violence and is being held on $250,000 bond.
Hollins previously had a minor criminal record. Court records show a peace order was issued against Hollins in April of 2014 and it expired seven months later. He was also previously charged with trespassing in 2013. Those cases have been closed.
