CashOut063 Honors Slain Chicago Rapper L’A Capone

The Chicago Hip Hop scene saw a slew of mixtape projects hit the streets during the concluding month of 2013 and the opening days of the New Year.

CashOut063 was one such artist who released his long-awaited mixtape “No More Free Cash” in late December.

Another tape the streets were hungry for was L’A Capone’s posthumous mixtape “Separate Myself.”

L’A Capone, an up and coming artist who hailed from Chicago’s 600 block, succumbed to injuries sustained in a Sept. 26 shooting upon leaving a recording studio. He was 17.

Capone’s last mixtape has earned much praise via social media and even a few new fans.

Cash even saluted Capone’s artistry.

“RIP LA ON FOLKS HAD BARS,” he wrote.

Capone’s single “I Got It” is currently making its rounds on the net. Capone hits the track, rapping a stutter flow made famous by Def Jam rapper Lil Reese.

Capone raps, “I said my n****s know they got it if I got/And I don’t wanna hit your loud, I got/Another day, another b***h, she excited/We stay peelin off a road, f**k a wallet.”

This single appears on Capone’s posthumous mixtape release “Separate Myself.”
