Windy City rapper Smylez revealed in a Facebook post he inspired one of Lil’ JoJo’s famous lines before his untimely demise.

Fans may remember Lil’ JoJo rapping the line “I’ma leave it in the streets” several times at the end of his “I Got That Sack” freestyle.

“#TBT im the nigga who told jojo to leave it in the streets lets get this money, that’s why at the end of his I Got That Sack Freestyle, he said “Ima leave it in the streets” I toldem that before I recorded it, and he said he was gone stop sayin they name in usic after that, If it’s beef nigga leave it in the streets letz get this $ yuh see my bro Jojoworld Rico winnin , we leavin it in the streets!” Smylez wrote.
