Chicago Police are investigating a member of its department for making insensitive comments about slain Ferguson, MO teen Mike Brown, according to NBC Chicago. Brown was shot and killed by a Ferguson police officer Aug. 9, 2004.

Footage surfaced online showing a white male officer arguing with two black men.

“It’s all black people that live here, so I got no choice but to f—— pull over black people,” the officer is heard saying. “If you don’t like it, then move.”

“We don’t know what yall gon do,” the man recording replied. “Yall might shoot us.”

“Mike Brown deserved it,” the officer then said. “He got what came to him.”

CPD called the officer’s remarks “troubling” and have opened an internal affairs investigation, according to DNAinfo.com.

“CPD prides itself on fostering productive relationships with communities to help make Chicago safer,” the department said in a statement. “The comments in the video are troubling and do not represent the views of this department. Upon learning of the video we have opened an internal affairs investigation in the actions of this officer.”
