No I.D. is now celebrating his new role as Executive Vice President of Def Jam Recordings. He was previously Def Jam’s Executive Vice President of A&R.

The renowned producer, born Dion Wilson, will oversee current and new artist projects for Def Jam and developing and signing new talent to the label, according to Variety.

No I.D., whose nickname is Dion spelled backwards, is known for molding Kanye West into the mega superstar he is today.

Kanye famously credited No I.D in song “Last Call” from debut “The College Dropout.”

No I.D. is also known for his work with Rihanna, Rick Ross, Drake, Method Man, Nas and Common.
