Chicago Rapper King Samson Sends Condolences To Victims In Mr. G’s Club Shooting



Violence occurred during an album release party early Thursday morning after seven people were shot inside a Chicago nightclub, according to ABC 7.

Chicago emcee King Samson was one of three rappers performing at an album release party at Mr. G’s Supper Club and Entertainment Center.

He and fellow rappers Lil’ Mouse and Nino were present at the event when tragedy struck.

Mr. G”s owner Gene Linton told ABC 7 the raucous began outside his business.
“As I was locking the door, a guy said on the outside that, ”They”re shooting outside. They”re shooting outside.” I allowed him to get in,” he said. “When I got the key to lock the door I heard some shots and everyone went out.”

A 19-year-old woman was shot seven times, ABC 7 reports. Six men, ages 21 to 36, were also hit.

The victims were listed in stable conditions after being taken to local hospitals, the Chicago Tribune reports.

King Samson took to Twitter to send his condolences to victims.

“CONDOLENCE TO THE PEOPLE WHO GOT HURT IN THE CLUB VIOLENCE LAST NIGHT..CHICAGO WE GOTTA DO BETTER #STREETGOD,” the “ChiRaq Streets” rapper wrote.



Authorities are still searching for the perpetrators in the incident.
