Chief Keef’s “Bang 3” proved to be a fan favorite amongst Hip Hop heads. Sosa’s project peaked at No. 9 on Billboard’s Rap Albums Charts. That’s an impressive feat considering Sosa’s much-anticipated project leaked online weeks before its expected Aug. 18 drop date.
Fans were elated to learn the version that’s out isn’t official. Sosa announced a day after the leak that “Bang 3” was a double-disc.
“Bang 3 is a double CD these folks is tweaking,” he wrote on Twitter.
The double-disc copy will be made available for purchase online and in stores on Sept. 18.
The project, which is currently available for pre-order on iTunes, features 12 tracks including his much-anticipated record “Irri.” Sosa tapped Lil B to appear on the record.
