Chicago and Memphis have long had historical ties in music. African Americans from both cities are often credited with the advent of popular music genre Blues.

Two popular Hip Hop artists from both cities have linked to continue that tradition of good music.

Chicago’s own CJ Get Paid linked up with Memphis native Project Pat of Three 6 Mafia fame for new single “I Can’t Even Go.” CJ and Pat are shining too hard right now for it to be their time to go.
