Gucci Mane To Perform In Hologram Concert From Prison

A Gucci Mane hologram concert may possibly be a reality. The only problem is Gucci is currently serving time in prison. But media visionary Alki David believes he can make it happen. David, who owns HologramUSA, announced plans to stream Guwop live from jail via hologram technology.

David told Noisey during an interview his company is “working on that” for the Bricksquad 1017 boss.

David’s company is credited with making a hologram Tupac during Coachella 2012. His company also successfully projected Sosa live from Beverly Hills, CA in Hammond, IN the night of Saturday, July 25. Sosa performed hit song “I Don’t Like” before he was shut down.

Gucci Mane, whose birth name is Radric Davis, was sentenced to 39 months in prison in August 2014.

Guwop pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon in May. Gucci reached a plea deal with prosecutors to serve three years and three months in prison. He faced a maximum of 10 years in jail after being arrested on two counts of felony gun possession.

The “I Heard” rapper was arrested Sept. 14, 2013 after authorities found him in an erratic state with a Glock 40-caliber handgun and 11 rounds of ammunition, according to court documents obtained by AJC. Davis was discovered two days before on Sept. 12 with a Taurus 45-caliber handgun and eight rounds of ammunition.
