Fetty Wap is cocky at this point in his young career. The Patterson, New Jersey artist went a short rant about his accomplishments in a vlog.
“Yo, n*ggas is not making moves like him,” he said. “N*ggas not on the f*cking top 100 charts like me. N*ggas don’t got double-platinum songs like me. N*ggas don’t got consecutive hits like me. So nobody’s dissing me, man. Nobody’s doing better than me.”
Billboard recently announced Fetty was the first male rapper since Eminem in 2013 to have three songs in the top 20. The songs include “My Way,” “Trap Queen” and “679.” Em achieved that milestone in 2013 with “The Monster,” “Rap God” and “Berzerk.”
In June, Fetty was presented an MC100 award for his platinum-selling single “Trap Queen.”
“This actually my first award I ever won,” he tearfully said. “This crazy. I ain’t never won nothing in my life before. Thanks to everybody. I’m just gonna continuing making good music.”
