NBA star Paul George suffered a gruesome leg injury during the USA Basketball Blue- White scrimmage in UNLV’s Thomas and Mack Center.

Footage of the incident is hard to watch. But it did prove to spark much discussion across social media.



The incident occurred just 27 seconds into the fourth quarter after fouling opposing player James Harden. George’s leg snapped after sliding into the base behind the basket.



George later took to Twitter following incident and expressed thanks to his supporters.

“Thanks everybody for the love and support.. I’ll be ok and be back better than ever!!! Love y’all!! #YoungTrece
