An Indianapolis man was allegedly tortured for refusing to join the Gangster Disciples street gang, according to Wish-TV 8.
Daante Embry, 20, narrowly escaped death after escaping through a bathroom from two Gangster Disciple members who tried to force him to join their gang.
The suspects allegedly beat and burned Embry with cigarettes. Embry, according to Wish-TV 8 told detectives, “they played Russian Roulette with me, they kept putting the gun at the back of my head and pulling the trigger.”
Embry’s cries for help went unanswered after multiple doors he knocked on didn’t opened. He eventually obtained help from a neighbor who then called the police.
