Lil Boosie has been dubbed “BooPac” in honor of the late Tupac Shakur. In an IG post captioned, “Boopac & Biggie,” Trill Ent. posted an image of the “Still Happy” rapper observing a wall poster of the Notorious B.I.G.

“Like some artists can have 3 million fans and some artists can have a million fans,” he continued. “But a heartfelt artist’s million fans love him five times more than that other artist’s 3 million fans. When you get in that heartfelt category of Tupac, you special to people. That means you done put tears in people’s eyes. You special to people.”

Boosie has a song dedicated to Pac titled “Letter To Tupac,” according to the rapper’s cousin and Trill Ent. member Donkey.

“That man said he got over 50 cds wrote, double albums. Over 50 double albums,” he told Say Cheese TV. “My favorite one is a “Letter To Tupac.”

“…To where he like saluting Pac for passing the torch to him that’s it’s his world now. He ready,” he adds.

Lil Boosie was released from the Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola March 5 after serving four years of an eight-year prison sentence for a drug conviction and probation violation.
